Fundamentals of fluid flow in piping

Fluid flow is an important part of many industrial processes. This course covers fundamental approaches to fluid flow calculations with emphasis on fluid flow in piping systems. It offers a clear explanation of the fundamentals and then links them to design of the system.

This course discusses considerations involved in flow of fluids through pipes and fittings. Calculation methods for determining pressure drops for singlephaseliquid and gas flow will be discussed in detail with examples and practice.

The course is designed for a wide range of audiences, is fully interactive and utilizes fundamental technical exercises and terminology to learn key points. Useful and handy reference charts, rule of thumb, diagrams and tables are included with course material.

Who Should Attend

This course targets anyone needing a clear understanding of fluid flowprinciples and calculation methods. This course is intended for process, mechanical, piping, facilities and industrial engineers, as well as anyone who works fluid flow, piping and piping system.
